When is the Group Action likely to reach trial?

Although significant work has been carried out in relation to the generic evidence, we have yet to receive the Defence and then the process of discovery of documents from the Defendants will begin. That will be a lengthy and cumbersome procedure. To some extent, therefore, at this stage the timetable is not completely within our control and we would therefore estimate that it is unlikely that the case will reach trial before mid-2005.
