Michael joined Edwards & Co in 2003, having previously practised in England for 7 years. In May 2009 he became a partner in the firm.
Over the past 6 years he initially worked closely with Richard Murphy in the criminal law department and gradually took over the running of that side of the practice when Richard handed over to him in 2006. Michael specialises in police disciplinary work and is now the most experienced practitioner in N.I. in that field.
His specialism has resulted in a demand for him to provide training courses and lectures which he does on a regular basis.
Michael is also involved in other areas of Regulory law and is part of the team set up to handle the work of the Security Industry Authority in N.I.
