Michael studied law at Queen's University Belfast and qualified as a Solicitor in 2007. Prior to his qualification as a Solicitor, Michael was appointed as a Tutor in Criminal Law at the School of Law at Queen's University Belfast.
Before joining Edwards & Company in 2008, Michael worked in a firm outside Belfast where he practised exclusively in the fields of Litigation and Criminal Law.
He now conducts a large number of Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims for individual clients at both County Court and High Court level. As a member of our Criminal, Inquiries & Discipline Department Michael continues to use his advocacy skills to personally represent clients in criminal matters before the Magistrate's Court and works with Counsel at the Crown Court. He also ably assists Michael May in disciplinary and conduct hearings.
