Joanne Kerr
Joanne studied law at Queen's University Belfast, graduating in 1996. She completed her professional training at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and qualified as a solicitor in 1998.
In her previous post Joanne dealt with a number of large group actions involving equal pay and sex discrimination issues.
She is now heavily involved in the litigation department within Edwards & Co. and has extensive experience of handling claims on behalf of both Plaintiffs and Insurers. She deals with a wide range of litigation including clinical negligence, employer's liability, road traffic accidents, judicial review and commercial law cases.
Joanne also assisted Dorcas Crawford in the conduct of Northern Ireland's largest and longest running Group litigation on behalf of some 5000 police officers. Clients of Edwards & Co. can enjoy access to Joanne's consummate knowledge of civil law in this jurisdiction.
