Cathy Warnock
Cathy Warnock graduated in Law from Leeds University in 1992 and qualified as a solicitor through the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Belfast, in 1994.
Early in her career Cathy was appointed as a manager of a solicitor's branch office and so realised that there was a need to develop certain business skills as well as legal skills. She therefore studied and subsequently in 1998 obtained a Masters Degree in Organisational Management from Queen's University.
Cathy joined the Private Client and Property Department at Edwards & Co. in July 2007 having previously been in partnership in a firm of solicitors based in Newtownabbey for eight years.
For the last 10 years she has chosen to specialise in conveyancing, wills/ estate planning and probate/ administration of estates. She has therefore considerable experience in the residential housing market dealing with sales, purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages and also in commercial transactions, dealing with sales of businesses including business property, refinancing of businesses through commercial mortgages and commercial leases.
