Claire Wilson
Claire graduated in Law with French from the University of Dundee in 2003 and after broadening her horizons travelling abroad, she joined Edwards & Co. as an apprentice and qualified as a solicitor in 2007.
Claire started her professional career in the Conveyancing Department conducting sales and purchases on behalf of our Housing Association clients. She continues to act on their behalf in repossession and debt recovery proceedings. Claire now specialises in debt recovery on behalf of our commercial clients, by way of court proceedings, winding up petitions and bankruptcy petitions. Notably, Claire acts on behalf of British Sky Broadcasting Limited in Northern Ireland in this area.
Claire is also a part of the Regulatory Law Department conducting criminal prosecutions in the Magistrate's Court on behalf of the Federation Against Copyright Theft. She represents the Security Industry Authority in licensing appeals to the Magistrates' Courts across the jurisdiction. Claire maintains a personal injury caseload, conducting plaintiffs' claims in the County Court and High Court for noise induced hearing loss as a result of their employment.
