Claire Wilson
"As lawyers I realise we are often people's last resort but it is with this in mind that we should always strive to use our best efforts and legal expertise to finally bring an appropriate resolution to their problems."
Claire graduated in Law with French from the University of Dundee in 2003 and after broadening her horizons travelling abroad, she joined Edwards & Co. as an apprentice and qualified a solicitor in 2007.
Claire was quickly thrown in at the deep end of the conveyancing department and was soon swimming as she conducted sales and purchases on behalf of both our Housing Association clients and individual private clients. She continues to act for the Housing Associations in repossession proceedings.
At present Claire divides her time between her conveyancing work and her work in the regulatory law department conducting criminal prosecutions on behalf of the Federation Against Copyright Theft in the Magistrate's Court and the Security Industry Authority. She also assists many of the firm's clients with debt recovery at both Small Claims and County Court level.
